Personal Training can help anyone regardless of age or physical condition, and at Dragonfly Health I can help you work on your specific goals. 


Whether your aim is to lose weight or body fat, increase general fitness, strength or size, I can tailor a program to your every need so that it fits in with your own personal needs, budget and schedule. You will get regular encouragement to keep you motivated and on track to achieve your goals.


With one to one sessions specifically tailored to your needs, and gradually progressing on a weekly basis, you will never fall into your comfort zone, being able to see results occurring quicker then ever before.


The sessions run for one hour and start with some warm up exercises, some cardio based/ heart raising training to prepare your body for exercise such as brisk walking, jogging or a circuit based warm up. Mobility stretching is also used to help mobilise the joints and get you ready for the training ahead.

The main session then incorporates a variety of resistance exercises with the aid of free weights, kettlebells, resistance bands and other methods of weight training. A cardio section can be implemented to either help burn additional unwanted fat to aid weight loss and to help you improve general fitness.

Specific core and stomach exercises are additionally implemented into the session to help improve core stability while also increasing tone and reducing abdominal fat. A typical session will finish with stretching to aid the body in recovery in preparation for the next session as well as reducing the body‘s fatigue.

Outside of the sessions, there will be guidance and exercises to help you carry on your exercise routine at home. You need to be exercising 3-4 times a week to achieve all your fitness goals and I am committed to help you get there.


FITNESS ASSESSMENT

Before setting up an exercise plan, it is important to know exactly your starting point, like body fat percentage, body fat weight, blood pressure, peak flow, heart rate as well as cardiovascular and resistance fitness test results. This will provide you with a clear starting block to begin your new healthier lifestyle as well as providing you with accurate figures that you can work with and compare against in the future.
